Edith R. Weirich

Edith R. Weirich, 81 of Tilden Twp. died September 30, 2011 in her residence. She was the widow of the late Charles A. Weirich who pre deceased her in 2001. Born in Tilden Twp., PA, she was the daughter the late Raymond W. and Mabel M. (Grim) Kessler of Tilden Twp, PA. She was a 1948 graduate of Hamburg High School. Edith was a member of St. Michaels Church Tilden Twp, and Hamburg Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She first worked for Burkey Knitting Mills for 18 years and then for the Hamburg Center for 22 years in the custodial dept. until she retired in 1996. Surviving in addition to her mother, she is survived by Nieces and Nephews. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:00 pm in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
