Edith M. Metivier Olshefski, 92, formerly of Reading, died Sept. 12 at 12:10 a.m. in the Mifflin Center, Cumru Township, where she had resided since April 1994.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Leo J. Metivier, in 1950, and by her second husband, Stanley E. Olshefski, in 1994.
Born in Gouglersville, she was a daughter of the late Jay and Alvesta (Squibb) Zimmerman.
Olshefski was employed for 10 years as a stocking examiner by Wolf Textile Co., West Reading, retiring in 1953.
She was a member of the Central Park United Methodist Church, Reading.
Surviving are two daughters, Dolores (Metivier) Gantert and Joan (Metivier) Adam, both of Riverview Park.
Other survivors include two brothers, Fred and Robert Zimmerman, both of Reading.
There are also six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Friends may call from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Kuhn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers: Contributions may be made to St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church 925 Center Ave., Reading, PA 19601. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale.
