Edith G. Lucchese

Edith G. (Umbenhouer) Lucchese, 85, of Flying Hills, died December 6, 2009 in her daughter's residence.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Lucchese, in 1965.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Eva (Bowers) Umbenhouer.

She was a graduate of Shillington High School.

Edith was employed as a bookkeeper for many years by Stern's Pharmacy, Reading.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie M. Fleischmann, Wyomissing; and three grandchildren, Michele Fleischmann, Reading, Heather Rodriguez, Wyomissing, and Wendy Fleischmann-McNatt, wife of Timothy McNatt, Eagleville and five great-grandchildren.

Edith was predeceased by her grandson, Timothy Fleischmann, her brother, Warren Umbenhouer and her sister, Mildred Biardeau.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Berks County Animal Rescue League, P.O.
