Edith Knight

Edith Knight, 99, formerly of 4832 5th Avenue, Temple, died April 13th at 11:30 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Pottstown where she had been since February 13, 1999.

Born in West Blomwich, England, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Anna M. (Durnell) Knight.

She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Reading.

Knight was a 1927 graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

She worked as a Private Duty Nurse for 40 years before her retirement in 1966.

Knight is survived by a sister, Kathleen (Knight) Henry of Bath.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Kell Morton officiating. Viewing 10:00 am until time of service. Burial in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
