Edith E. Frick

Edith E. (Young) Frick, 89, formerly of 117 South 4th Street, Reading died March 24th at 4:55 a.m. in Berks Heim, where she had been since September 13, 2001.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry Boyd and Katie R. (Keller) Young.

She was employed as a Machine Operator for the former Oritsky Clothing Company, Reading for a number of years before her retirement in 1964.

Frick was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, Hyde Park.

She is survived by a son, Richard B. husband of Patricia J. (Moyer) Frick of Wernersville.

Other survivors include a sister, Barbara (Young), wife of Crist Galanos of Wernersville, one grandson, Rick B. husband of Debbie M. (Swartzel) Frick of Pennside and a great granddaughter, Kylene P. Frick, at home.

Services will be Thursday 1:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Wednesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Contributions may be made to Grace Alsace U.C.C., 2151 Kutztown Road, Reading, Pa 19605.
