Edith Civitarese

Edith Civitarese, 91, of Exeter Township, passed away January 16, 2013 in the Berkshire Center.

She was the widow of Joseph Civitarese.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Elizabetta (Schiavoni) Pichini.

She was a labeler for Glidden Paints.

Edith was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Reading.

She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Victor Emmanuel Beneficial Society and was a volunteer for the Olivet Boys and Girls Club.

Edith is survived by her son, Joseph A., husband of Mary Beth Civitarese, Deerfield Beach, FL. Also surviving are her brother, Dr. Anthony, husband of Mary Louise Pichini, Reading; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 237 Franklin St., Reading. A viewing will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J.
