Earl B. Spade

Earl B. Spade, Jr., of Pike Township, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012 in the St. Joseph Medical Center where he was a patient since May 25th.

He was the husband of the late Patricia Anne (Otis) Spade.

Born in East Donegal Township, he was a son of the late Earl B. Spade, Sr. and Bertha E. (Eckman) Spade.

He was employed his entire career with PECO Energy, retiring in 1991.

He was a member of the Pike Township Sportsmans Association. A skilled wood craftsman, he owned and operated "Mostly Wooden Toys" for many years.

He is survived by his children: Merle Spade, Matthew Spade, Joyce Gollon, Debbie Morris, William Bratsper, Robert Bratsper, William Spade and Robert Spade. Also his siblings: Kenny Spade, Charles Spade, Erma Jane Luciano, Shirley Hackman and Gloria Getz. Also surviving are 17 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may view on Friday from 9:00-11:00 am. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Medical Center, Cancer Center, 2500 Bernville Road, Reading, Pa. 19605.
