Earl L. Moyer

Earl L. Moyer, 85, formerly of Woodland Plaza Apartments, State Hill Road, Wyomissing, died Sept. 1 at 11:30 a.m. in ManorCare Assisted Living, West Reading, where he had resided since Dec. 2.

He was predeceased by his wife, Naomi M. Moyer.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late James and Elsie Moyer.

Moyer was employed for 35 years as a meter reader by the UGI Corp., Reading, until his retirement.

He was a 50-year and life member of Local 600, United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada.

Moyer, who resided with June Bechtel, has no immediate survivors.

Services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
