Earl N. Mensch

Earl N. Mensch, 80, of Boyertown, passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 in his residence.

He was the husband of Dolores (Meyers) Mensch of Boyertown, and the son of the late Allen and Mabel (Nester) Mensch.

A member of the graduating class of Boyertown High School class of 1948, he was a lifelong farmer and an active member of the PA Farmer's Association (PFA).

Earl was the chairman of the Berks County Soil and Water Conservation District for many years.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is survived by three daughters: Debby Stailey and her husband George of Boyertown; Donna Mensch; and Denise Weidner and her husband Robert of Oley; and two grandchildren: Kyle and Kelly Weidner.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 am to 10 am prior to the graveside service at Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley.
