Earl Richard Meals

Earl Richard Meals, 84, died January 5, 2014 in his Ruscombmanor Township residence.

He was the husband of Vanetta Jane (Paine) Meals whom he married November 30, 1974.

Born February 13, 1929 in Moselem Springs, he was a son of the late Charles O. and Edith (Johnson) Meals.

Earl was employed as a battery inspector with Prestolite for 38 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Earl was a member of the Blandon Fire Company and enjoyed hunting and working in his garden.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are many nieces and nephews.

Earl was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown.
