Earl Robert Heintz, 64, died January 21, 2011 in his Exeter Township residence.
He was the husband of Joanne Victoria (Andrejewski) Heintz, whom he married June 12, 1971.
Born in Reading, PA on December 17, 1946, he was a son of Edith V. (Appolloni) Hinnershitz of West Lawn and the late Earl Robert Hinnershitz.
He was a 1964 graduate of Reading High School.
Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.
He was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.
Earl was a group manager of the Men's Department at John Wanamaker's Department Store, Berkshire Mall for 12 years.
He was retired after 19 years as a sales representive with Pitney Bowes.
Over the past 14 years, Earl was the owner of Mount Penn Sports Cards.
He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed his retirement at his sports card memorabilia shop, talking sports with all his friends.
Earl enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved to watch them participate in sports.
Also surviving are two daughters: Tara H., wife of Keith D. Lawlor of Limerick, Montgomery County and Andrea H., wife of John P. George of St. Lawrence.
Other survivors include a sister, Martha (Appolloni) Giles of Delaware; and six grandchildren, Alex J. Heintz, Kevin P. Lawlor, Sadie J. Lawlor, Peter S. George, Robert J. George and Caroline R. Lawlor.
Earl was predeceased by a granddaughter Isabella R. George in March, 2007.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township. A viewing will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of mass in the church. Entombment will be private at Gethsemane Cemetery.
