Earl D. Gibble, 76, of West Wyomissing Boulevard, Lincoln Park, formerly of Garfield Avenue, West Wyomissing, died July 24 at 5:55 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since May 9.
He was the husband of Rita A. (Klusewitz) Gibble. His first wife, June E. (Hinnershitz) Gibble, died in September 1961.
Born in Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Paul and Sally (Dubble) Gibble.
Gibble was employed for 30 years as an assembler by Dana Corp., Reading, retiring in 1980.
He was vice president of Dana's Retirees Association for 15 years, serving until April.
Gibble was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is also survived by a son, Rick C., West Wyomissing; a stepson, Donald Davis, Muhlenberg Township; and three stepdaughters: Margaret (Davis) Milligan and Rosemary (Davis) Leonardziak, both of Reading, and Virginia (Davis) Krick, Wernersville.
Other survivors include a brother, Harold, Denver, Lancaster County.
There are also two grandsons, 11 stepgrandchildren, one great-granddaughter and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
