Earl L. Fairchild

Earl L. Fairchild, Jr., 84, of Greenfields, died October 3, 2012 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Ruth H. (Steffy) Fairchild.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Earl L., Sr. and Louise (Welliver) Fairchild.

He was last employed by Reading Eagle Co., as a security guard.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Brenda L., wife of Justin T. Burk, West Reading. Three grandchildren, Brittany Selig, Hunter Burk and Caitlyn Burk also survive him.

Earl was predeceased by his son, Allen Fairchild in 1994.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
