Earl Franklin Breidigam, 87, Alsace Township, died January 25, 2008 in The Lutheran Home at Topton.
He was the husband of Betty Hettie Ann (Keiser) Breidigam of Alsace Township, whom he married June 22, 1946.
Born in Rockland Township on July 12, 1920, he was a son of the late Solon J. and Annie R. (Cronrath) Breidigam.
He was a member of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, Dryville, where he had been a member of the choir and past president for the Church Council on which he served seven years.
Earl was the owner of Amoco Gas Station, Fleetwood for five years and later was employed 27 years as a parts salesman with Boyertown Automotive, before retiring July 1985.
He was an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Fleetwood American Legion, Horace M. Keiffer Post #625.
Earl is also survived by two children; Patricia A. wife of Robert Q. Kramer of Topton and Dennis E. husband of Linda L. (Reeder) Breidigam of Alsace Township.
Other survivors include four siblings; Lena Breidigam of Longswamp Township, Erma widow of Paul Heffner of Richmond Township, Alma widow of Howard Hilbert of Boyertown and Lee husband of Emma Breidigam of Newmanstown.
There are also four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 am in Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522, with Rev. Cheryl F. Meinschein officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the church. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at the above address. Walter R.
