Earl M. Bohanak

Earl M. Bohanak, 80, of Wyomissing, died December 21, 2016, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Lynda L. (Smith) Bohanak; they were married on May 30, 1970.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Mary Bohanak.

Earl was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Penn State University.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

Earl was a mechanical engineer for Dana Corp.

He was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Earl was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he served as the Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator. He was fourth degree member of Pius IX assembly.

Earl was an avid reader and a faithful Eagles fan. He enjoyed playing with his grand-dogs, Chewy and Buster.

In addition to his wife, Lynda, he is survived by his daughter, Kelly A., wife of George Mason, Mohnton.

A prayer service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
