E. Frances Schukraft

E. Frances Schukraft, 84, of Fleetwood, died April 13, 2007 at 4:58 pm in the Reading Hospital where she had been a patient since April 7th.

She was the widow of Gustav W. Schukraft, who died April 5, 2006.

Born March 21, 1923 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles S. and Emma E. (Schaeffer) Loose.

She was a 1941 graduate of Reading High School.

Frances was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood where she was a former advisor for the children's youth group.

She was employed a number of years with various knitting mills, last working as a supervisor in quality control with Benham Knit Wear, Kutztown.

Frances is survived by a daughter, Sharon L. (Schukraft) wife of Malcolm L. Dreibelbis, Ontelaunee Township and a son, Keith B. husband of Emiko (Takahashi) Schukraft of Leonardtown, Maryland.

She is also survived by a sister, Evelyn (Loose) widow of John Rodolff of York Springs, PA.

Other survivors include three grandchildren, Christina L. Broom, Shawn R. Mumma and Megan K. Huesgen and four great grandchildren, Andrew R. Broom, Ashlyn E. Broom, Nicholas A. Mumma and Andrew T. Huesgen.

She was predeceased by a son, Gary N. Schukraft, who died March 10, 1987.

Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in St. Paul's U.C.C., 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522 with the Rev. Harry W. Keppley, Jr., and Rev. Candi Cain-Borgman officiating. Viewing will be held Tuesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
