E. Lorraine Platt

E. Lorraine Platt, 88, formerly of Sinking Spring and Phoebe Berks Health Center, died November 6, 2008 in the Reading Hospital.

She was the widow of William Platt who died in 1996.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Emma Artz.

She was a graduate of Pottsville High School.

She is survived by two brothers, Walter M. Artz, Wyomissing and Ira H. Artz, Lewisville, N.C., as well as several nieces and nephews.

At Lorraine's request there will be no services. Her ashes will be scattered over the Atlantic Ocean.
