E. Phyllis Loder

E. Phyllis Loder, 93, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 26, 2022, at her Leesport residence. She was the wife of the late Ray "Skip" A. Loder.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Kathryn (Weitzel) Fisher. Phyllis graduated from Reading High School and went on to earn her Nursing Diploma from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a nurse by the Reading Hospital.

Phyllis enjoyed socializing with " the girls" in her card club and later in the Red Hat Society. Time spent solving puzzles, playing games, and eating and being with friends and family made her happiest. She was an excellent cook and baker.

Phyllis will be remembered by those who love her as a caregiver and the "ultimate mother." Her family meant everything to her, but she always had love in abundance for anyone else who needed it.

Left to treasure her memory are her four children: Kyle Loder (Patricia) of Mohrsville; Kim Loder of Leesport; Kathy Whitmoyer (Terry) of Bernville; and Kristen Salen (Troy) of Leesport; six grandchildren: Ryan, Ashlee, Courtney, Amanda, Reese, and Rayna; and three great-grandchildren: Kendall, Branden, and Adaline.

Phyllis was predeceased by her brother, Robert Fisher.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
