E. John Greul

E. John Greul, 64, of Wyomissing, passed away on November 30th in his residence.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mia Greul.

His wife, Donna M. (Miller) Greul, passed away on July 26, 2005.

John was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1960. He then graduated from Penn State University in 1964. While at Penn State, he was a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity and later became an active member of Penn State Alumni Association. He started his career with Glidden Paint in Reading and retired, after 32 years, as a Sales Executive with Unilever Corporation.

John was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, Reading, and also Marco Island Lutheran Church, Florida.

He was an Army Veteran of Vietnam.

John was a United States Tennis Association Captain of various teams in Marco Island and Naples, Florida.

He was also a partner of Bear Hollow Rod and Gun Club, Lycoming County.

John is survived by three daughters, Tracy G. (Greul) wife of John Panase, Cumru Township, Kimberly G. (Greul) wife of John Dodds, Round Rock, TX, and Kristin G. (Greul) wife of Todd Krause, Avondale, Pa.

He is also survived by two sisters, Norma Jane (Greul) wife of Calvin Ammon, Norristown, and Sylvia (Greul) Updegrove, Lincoln Park.

There are also seven grandchildren, Cameron Panase, Caitlyn Panase, Will Dodds, Luke Dodds, Cole Dodds, Connor Krause and Mia Krause.

Services will be on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, 1 Carlisle Ave., Reading, Pa 19609. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
