Duraine M. Browne

Duraine M. Browne, 68, of Cheshire Court, Longs, S.C., formerly of Kevin Court, Whitfield, died of natural causes Dec. 11 at 10 p.m. in Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, S.C., where she had been a patient for one day.

She was the wife of Ronald G. Browne.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Livio and Mary (Rizzo) Sonsini.

Browne was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

She was a 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Browne is also survived by two sons, Michael L., Longs, S.C., and Kevin L., Harrisburg.

Other survivors include a brother, Lee Sonsini, Colony Park, and a sister, Catherine (Sonsini) Hofmann, of Longs.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
