Duncan S. Rumsey

Duncan Sebastian Rumsey, 42, of Spring Township, died June 25, 2007 at 12:41 pm in the Reading Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday.

He was the husband of Ginny (Fralick) Rumsey, whom he married March 28, 1998.

Born in Johnstown, Cambria County on January 25, 1965, he was a son of Donald Paul Rumsey Sr., of Hidden Valley, PA and Judith Christine Poerio of Johnstown, PA.

He was a 1983 graduate of Bishop McCort High School, Johnstown and attended Penn State University, State College.

Duncan was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Sinking Spring.

He was employed for the last year as an Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager with Reading Technologies, Inc., Bern Township, last working Friday.

Duncan was an avid Hockey Player and Golfer.

He was also a strenght trainer and held may personal training certifications.

Duncan is also survived by a daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Rumsey and a step-daughter, Haley Amanda Klumpp, both at home.

Other survivors include two sisters, Linda Rumsey of Carnegie, PA and Laura Brown of Moon Township, PA and three brothers, Donald husband of Lori Rumsey, Jr., of Wiarton, Ontario, Dean T. husband of Deanna L. (Gilbert) Rumsey of Johnstown and Dennis C. husband of Lisa (Carbone) Rumsey of York, PA.

He is also survived by his two best friends, Max and Bruce.

There are several nieces and nephews.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Memorial Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in St. John's Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, with the Rev. James Bertoti officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, P.O.
