Douglas J. Roth

Douglas J. Roth, 64, of Alsace Township, died August 11, 2016, at ManorCare, Laureldale.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John J., and Mildred E. (Snyder) Roth.

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Douglas was employed by Tom Sturgis Pretzel and later by Hofman Industries.

He loved horses and he rode them often on the trails and fire lanes on Mt. Penn.

Douglas is survived by one brother, Gregory L., husband of MaryJane Roth, Boalsburg, PA.

He was predeceased by two brothers: Brian Roth and Alan Roth.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Triangle Therapeutic Riding, 30 Martin Dr., Reinholds, PA 17569.
