Douglas K. Reinert

Douglas Keehn Reinert, 50, died April 1, 2010 in his Ruscombmanor Township residence.

He was the husband of Marcia Marie (Christ) Reinert, whom he married May 29, 1982.

Born September 18, 1959 in Bethlehem, he was the son of Robert K. and Pauline B. (Handwerk) Reinert of Oley Township.

Douglas was a 1977 graduate of Oley Valley High School and a 1981 graduate of Kutztown University, where he received a degree in Business Administration.

He was employed as Materials Manager and Manager of Manufacturing for 25 years with Wagner Division of Federal Mogul, Boyertown.

Douglas was a very active member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale. He was a consistory member, soloist with the choir, music worship chairperson and children's musical director.

He loved cooking, photography and bike riding. He also enjoyed taking trips with his family to his beach house in Rehoboth, DE.

Douglas was a past member of Reading Choral Society and past board member of Berks County Junior Miss.

Also surviving are two daughters, Julie M. Reinert of Exeter Township and Jennifer L. Crow of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include Deborah L. (Reinert) Peter of Greenwich Township and Donna M. (Reinert) Weidler of Lititz, Lancaster County.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Rosedale U.C.C., 1301 E. Bellevue Avenue, Laureldale, PA 19605. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service in the church. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
