Douglas W. Knepper

Douglas W. Knepper, 60 of Leesport died September 26 in St. Joseph's Hospice, Bern Township. He was the husband of Vicki A. (Weidenhammer) Knepper. Doug was born in Allentown and was the son of the late Nelson W. and Elizabeth J. (Reimold) Knepper. He was a 1976 graduate of Fleetwood High School and a member of St. John's (Gernants) Church. Douglas worked as a mechanic and welder for Ontelaunee Farms for 28 years working until he became ill. Doug was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #523, Hamburg and the Blandon Fire Company. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Norman Wagner, Jr. and wife Dana of Carsona, Casey Wagner and wife Beth of Alburtis, Richard Quillman, Jr. and wife Cindy of Fleetwood, daughter, Jennifer and husband Shawn Aldinger of Reading, 6 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, a great-grandson and a great-granddaughter. Doug was predeceased by his first wife of 23 years, Pamela (Stufflet) Wagner Knepper in 1995 and his sister, Donna Ross in 2017. A memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, at 5:00 p.m. in St. John's (Gernants) Church, 13 Gernant's Church Road, Leesport, PA with a visitation being held from 3:30 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be private. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
