Dorothy Ann (Lenhart) Winter, 94, died September 27, 2009 in her Spring Township residence with her neighbors by her side.
She was the loving widow of Woodrow Winter whom she cared for during his lengthy illness.
Born July 17, 1915 in South Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Edith Lenhart.
Dorothy was a 1932 graduate of Wilson High School and a graduate of Helen Moore Hoffman School of Secretaries.
She was employed as a secretary for Narrow Fabric Industry, West Reading.
Dorothy was very active in the VFW Auxiliary as a Poppy Lady.
Interests that Dorothy had were, painting, doll collecting, crossword puzzles and especially her two dogs, Patty and Mike.
Surviving is a sister-in-law, Bertha Winter of Temple and a nephew, Paul Winter of Las Vegas, NV.
There are also several great-nieces and great-nephews surviving.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Laureldale Cemetery Chapel, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Muhlenberg Township. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the chapel. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
