Dorothy Naomi Waid

Dorothy Naomi Waid, 69, of Temple, went to be with the Lord September 26, 2014 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born August 10, 1945 in Baumstown, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Irene (Wanner) Waid.

She was a 1964 graduate of Reading High School and then attended LPN school.

Dorothy was employed as an LPN with Community General Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1996.

She was a very active member of Berks Bible Church, Kenhorst.

Dorothy enjoyed crafting, gardening, taking trips to Wildwood, NJ and had a great sense of humor.

Surviving is her son, James E., husband of Alicia Waid of Fleetwood.

Also surviving is her sister, Anabelle Waid of Temple and her two grandchildren, Lee F. and Morgan T. Waid.

Services will be Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 at 3 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
