Dorothy Kathryn Setley

Dorothy K. (Lengel) Setley, age 78, passed away on May 18, 2016 at Reading Hospital.

She volunteered as an American Red Cross water safety instructor for 28 years at the Olivet Boys Club Learn to Swim Program. She also worked for 26 years at the former Reading Rehabilitation Hospital, as the office manager for Russell Youngberg, M.D. and then Eliseo Calata, M.D.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William J. Setley (West Lawn), her daughters ChrisLynn Setley, spouse of Tammi Weiandt, Laureldale and Cheri L. (Setley) Clauser, spouse of Robert Clauser, West Lawn, and a granddaughter, Lindsay B. (Clauser) Dilbeck, spouse of Michael Dilbeck, Wyomissing. She is also survived by her sisters, Dawn M. (Lengel) Hasenauer, Temple, and Eileen S. (Lengel) Moyer, Lewes, DE, her many loving nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

She prepared the following statement many years ago: "To all our relatives and friends, I want to thank you for the love and the time you have shared with us. Go on fully with your lives without a major interruption as I wish to have no funeral services. May God bless you until we meet again." In lieu of flowers, please perform a random act of kindness for someone, in Dorothy's memory.
