Dorothy D. Seaman

Dorothy D. (Dautrich) Seaman, 88, of 222 Hawthorne Court North, Spring Township died February 1st at 8:10am in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since January 28th.

She was the wife of George M. Seaman.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Sarah (Hahn) Dautrich.

She was a co-owner of Dautrich's Seafood, Reading for 35 years before retiring in 1980.

Seaman was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

She was a 1932 graduate of Reading High School and a 1936 graduate of Albright College.

Seaman is also survived by a cousin, Robert husband of Betty Kurtz of Galen Hall, Wernersville.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., 40 Berkshire Court, Wyomissing, Pa 19610. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
