Dorothy L. Sands

Dorothy L. Sands, 84, formerly of West Lawn and Reading, died October 26, 2009 in Lutheran Home at Topton.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ralph D. and A. Florence (Taylor) Sands.

She was a 1942 graduate of Reading High School.

Dorothy was employed as a book keeper for CNA Insurance.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church where she was in the church choir for many years.

Dorothy is survived by several cousins and many friends who will miss her dearly.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 449 N. 9th St., Reading, PA 19601. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church. Contributions may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church at the above address. Edward J.
