Dorothy M. Reves

Dorothy M. Reves, 79, of West Reading, died May 4, 2008 in her residence.

Her husband, Joseph R. Reves, died May 18, 1982.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Nunzio J. and Veronica (Fecera) Palumbo.

She was a graduate of Reading Catholic High School in 1946.

Dorothy was employed as a data processor by Rau Dog Shows, West Reading, retiring in 1992.

She loved to play Bingo and was an avid reader.

Dorothy was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. (Hess), wife of Thomas G. Hagan, Reading. There are also two grandchildren, Bree H., wife of Maj. Speros Koumparakis, Washington, D.C.; and Justin T. Hagan, McSherrystown, PA.

Five sisters, Antoinette Amole, West Reading; Anne Wentzel, Palm Coast, FL; Jean Villari, Audubon, NJ; Lori Tarnoski, Reading and Patricia Mendel, Palm Coast, FL also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
