Dorothy W. Reinert

Dorothy W. Reinert, 99 of Virginville died February 19th, in the Kutztown Manor, Kutztown. She was the widow of Warren H. Reinert who died March 22, 1986. She was born in Hamburg and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Annie (Folk) Givler. Dorothy was a 1932 graduate of Topton High School and a member of Zion's Church, Windsor Castle. She worked for 57 years in various mills throughout the Hamburg area, retiring in 1976 from Wright's Knitting Mill in Hamburg. Dorothy was a 50 plus year member of the Virginville Grange and also a Life member, and was named as Granger of the year in 1991. She was also a member of the Kutztown Ladies Auxiliary. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Linda L. wife of Lee Stump, Lenhartsville, grandchildren Kimberly wife of Levi Singleton, South Carolina, Kristine Stump, W. Reading and Kelly Stump, New Tripoli. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Jaleah Singleton. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Township. Online condolences may be expressed at www.burkeydriscoll.com.
