Dorothy P. Ottey

Dorothy Pearl (Snyder) Ottey, 85, of Wyomissing and formerly of Harrisburg, died February 17, 2009 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was married June 1, 1952 to the late Harry Raymond Ottey, who died July 3, 1990.

Born in Chester County on February 2, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Joseph O. and Ida C. (White) Snyder.

She was a 1942 graduate of Downingtown High School and attended Drexel University.

Dorothy is survived by two children: H. Ralph, husband of Asta B. (Bolladottir) Ottey of Baltimore, MD and Deborah I. (Ottey), wife of Dr. Joel W. Malin of Newtown, CT.

Other survivors include two grandchildren: Mia Ottey Malin and Abigail Rose Malin.
