Dorothy M. Hyneman

Dorothy M. (Shenk) Hyneman, 94, formerly of Berkshire Heights, died peacefully May 11, 2010, after a brief illness in Hearthstone at Maidencreek Assisted Living.

Her husband Charles E. Hyneman, Sr. died February 20, 1991.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Bertha (Guinther) Shenk.

Dorothy is survived by two children, Charles E., Jr., husband of Sandra M. Hyneman, Mohrsville and Nancy C. Ruth, Muhlenberg Township; and two sisters, Flora Patches, Newmanstown and Pauline, wife of Lester McNeil, Temple.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Brian Hyneman, Tracy Kochel and Stefanie Horrigan and three great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Bossler, Riley Kochel and Kyra Kochel

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
