Dorothy M. Hoffman

Dorothy M. Hoffman, 90, passed away on August 16, 2026, at Mifflin Court. She was the widow of the late Leon W. Hoffman. They shared 49 wonderful years together.

Born in Pine Grove, she was the daughter of the late Charles I. and Anna M. (Beuchler) Ney. Dorothy graduated from Pine Grove High School in 1953. She was employed as a secretary at Boscov's Department Store for 30 years.

Dorothy loved going out to eat, playing bingo, and vacationing with her friends and family.

Left to treasure her memory are her brother, Charles W. Ney, Sr. and his wife, Trunko, of Pine Grove and an abundance of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers: Robert, Lester, and Ronald Ney.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading with interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park to follow. The viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
