Dorothy M. Gromis

Dorothy Mamie (Mull) Gromis, 79, died January 28th at 3:00 am in Grandview Manor, Ruscombmanor Township, where she had been for three years.

She was the widow of Frederick Gromis, who died July 23, 1979.

Born in Exeter Township, she was a daughter of the late Edwin W. and Mamie M. (Kercher) Mull.

She was a 1943 graduate of Ontelaunee High School.

Gromis worked for 44 years at Narrow Fabric, West Reading, before retiring as a Fabric Supervisor in 1977.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Gromis was a member of the Mount Pleasant Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a brother, Calvin Mull of Leesport.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Tuesday 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Leesport Cemetery, Ontelaunee Township. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 25 Stevens Avenue, West Lawn, Pa 19609.
