Dorothy M. (Davis) Lembo, 87, died August 10, 2008, in the Allied Long Term Care Facility, Scranton.

She was the widow of Carmelo Lembo who died February 21, 2006.

Born March 10, 1921, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Clayton J. and Jennie R. (Speicher) Davis.

She attended Ontelaunee Vocational School.

Dorothy was employed by the Berkshire Knitting Mill and the Textile Machine works for 25 years until her retirement.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved cooking, entertaining friends and traveling.

Dorothy was a member of the Shillington Pool Association, a Camp Fire Girls' Leader, a Berks County Tennis Club Association member, and a Mifflin Meals-on-Wheels volunteer.

She is survived by two daughters; Janet L., wife of Francis T. DeAndrea, Clarks Summit, PA; and Rosanne, wife of Rinaldo Serapioni, Shaffhausen, Switzerland.

She was predeceased by a brother; Raymond Davis; and two sisters; Lillie Henne, and Helen Bright.

Dorothy is also survived by three grandchildren; Christian L. DeAndrea, Baltimore, MD; Alicia M. Walsh, Jersey City, NJ; and Massimo Serapioni, Shaffhausen, Switzerland. She has one greatgrandson, Caleb M. Walsh.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading. Friends may call 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery.
