Dorothy M. Leisey

Dorothy M. Leisey, 91, formerly of Kline Street, West Reading, died Dec. 4 in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, Lancaster County, where she had resided since November 2001.

Her husband, George A. Leisey Sr., died Nov. 18, 1978.

Born in Spring Township, she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Mary (Sweitzer) Moyer.

Leisey was employed for 46 years as a packer by Berkshire International, Wyomissing, retiring in 1973.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

Leisey was a past director of the West Reading Fire Company Auxiliary and the West Reading Senior Citizens.

Surviving are a daughter, Bonita L. (Leisey) Forry, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County; and three sons: George A. Jr., Reading; Richard M., Greenville, Ohio; and Richard G. Sr., Mohrsville.

Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
