Dorothy M. Leiby

Dorothy M. Leiby, 84 of Albany Township died December 3rd in the Kutztown Manor, Kutztown. She was born in Tilden Township and was the daughter of the late Leon D. and Vesta M. (Richards) Becker. She was employed for many years by the Hamburg Knitting Mill as a machine operator. Dorothy was a member of Jacob's United Church of Christ, New Tripoli. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Union Fire Company #1, Hamburg and the Lynnport Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary. Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Anna L. wife of Donald W. Krause of Kutztown, Darlene wife of Craig A. Manwiller of Hamburg, One sister, Marian L. wife of Arlin Lutz of Kempton, one brother, David C. husband of Eleanor Becker of Warminster, two granddaughters, Cristen L. wife of Brent Himmelberger of Mohrsville, Susan L. Krause of Kutztown, two grandsons, Patrick C. husband of Kristy Manwiller of Leesport and Allen R. Krause of Breinigsville, and three great grandsons, Carson and Brayden Himmelberger and Gregory Manwiller. Dorothy was also predeceased by two brothers, John L. and James D. Becker. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Jacob's United Church of Christ, 8373 King's Highway, New Tripoli, PA. 18066.
