Dorothy J. Kokoski

Dorothy J. Kokoski, 71, of Cumru Township, passed away April 28, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in Sewickley, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Augustine) Kokoski.

Dorothy was a 1959 graduate of Ambridge High School.

She worked as an executive secretary for the Navy, NASA and SPC in Washington DC, retiring in 2003.

Dorothy was an avid sports fan, specifically football, tennis and basketball. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and taking trips to Ocean City, MD. She loved spending time with her family especially her great nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara A., wife of Robert Kaunert, Cumru Township and her brother, Paul D., husband of Carol Kokoski, Ambridge. Also surviving are her two nieces: Amy Brozstek, Carrie Ramaley and three nephews: Robert Kaunert, Christopher Kaunert and P.J. Kokoski. 11 great nieces and nephews also survive her.

Dorothy was predeceased by her brother, James M. Kokoski.

Memorial Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 N.
