Dorothy K. Geibel

Dorothy K. Geibel, 82, West Lawn, died March 27 at 5:55 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Spring Township, where she had resided since March 13.

Her husband, William P. Geibel, died in 1987.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George N. Haviland Sr. and Catherine R. (Withers) Haviland.

Geibel was employed for 36 years as a candy packer by Luden's Inc., Reading, retiring in 1987.

Surviving are three sisters: Mary L. (Haviland) Strunk, Reading; Millicent E. (Haviland) Ensinger, Garland, Texas; and Edith M. (Haviland) Kreisher, Albuquerque, N.M.

Other survivors include two grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia A. (Geibel) Plante, in 1988.

Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
