Dorothy E. Janaskie

Dorothy E. Janaskie, 88, formerly of Georgia Avenue, Muhlenberg Park, died Jan. 29 at 4 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Muhlenberg Township, where she had resided since Sept. 2, 1993.

Her husband, Earl P. Janaskie, died March 24, 1989.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Florence (Steiner) Buchanan.

Janaskie was employed as a claims rater by CNA Insurance Co., Reading, retiring March 1, 1980.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
