Dorothy I. Lutz

Dorothy I. (Wagonseller) Lutz, 87, formerly of Pennsylvania Avenue, Hyde Park, died August 24th at 7:35 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had been since 1997.

She was the widow of Jacob A. Lutz, who died in 1993.

Born in Laureldale, she was a daughter of the late James and Florence (Heckman) Wagonseller.

Lutz was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park.

She worked for 30 years in the Data Entry Department at Carpenter Technology, Reading, before retiring in 1978.

Lutz is survived by two nieces, Gail (Hamaker) Homan of Temple and Brenda (Hamaker) Gaspari of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include three nephews, Paul Hamaker of Reading, Donald Hamaker of Millsboro, Delaware and Willard Lutz of Wyomissing.

Services will be Friday at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Visitation Friday 1:30 pm until time of service. Entombment will be in Laureldale Mausoleum, Tuckerton. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
