Dorothy M. Hain

Dorothy Missbach Hain, 87, formerly of 300 Belvedere Ave and Mifflin Center, Reading passed away July 15, 2009 in Reading Hospital.

Born in Sinking Spring was the daughter of Frank and Lena (Missbach) Hain.

She served as a Nurse in US Army Veteran during WWII. Dorothy then worked as a registered nurse at the former Community General Hospital for 28 years retiring in 1975. Later she was the administrator for Caum Home, Reading, PA, and also worked for the Leader Home.

She was a member at Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading. She is survived by a brother James Hain of Mifflin Center, Reading; 3 nieces a 1 nephew and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Isabel M. Gantert who passed in 2002

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2008 at 10AM in Edward J.Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave.,West Reading. A calling hour will be held 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in Epler's Cemetery, Leesport, PA.
