Dorothy E. Gross

Dorothy E. Gross, 87, of Reading, died June 28, 2008 in Berks Heim where she resided for the past two years.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by her family.

She was the widow of Lloyd E. Gross who died in 1977.

Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of Peter (Michalski) Brown and Frances (Przepiora) Brown. Dorothy was predeceased by five sisters and seven brothers. She was the last surviving member of her family.

She is survived by four children: Joanne L. Trefsgar, wife of Richard of Reading; Lloyd L. Gross, husband of Susan K. of Shillington; Timothy P. Gross, husband of Terry of Temple; and Lori Gross of Bethlehem.

She is also survived by grandchildren: Kathleen Schaeffer, Cheryl Krug, Deborah Drago, Tracey Gross, Lisa Hoff, and Andrea Wilson; fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services will be in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, PA at 11 am with a viewing one hour prior on Tuesday, July 1, 2008. Interment will be at Laureldale Cemetery to follow.
