Dorothy Marie Frehn

Dorothy Marie (Binckley) Frehn, 89, of 2640 Girard Ave., Spring Township died February 28th at 4:00 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since February 22nd.

She was taken there from Spruce Manor, West Reading where she had been since March 6, 2002.

Frehn was the widow of Donald E. Frehn Sr., who died March 16, 1981.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Annie (Preston) Binckley.

She worked as a sewing machine operator for a number of years at the former Reading Clothing Company until the plants closing.

Frehn was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She is survived by two sons, Donald E. Sr., and Harold J. both of Spring Township.

Other survivors include two sisters, Anna M. (Binckley) Frane of West Reading and Sarah J. (Binckley) Rochowicz of Stony Creek.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10am in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Viewing Wednesday 8:30 - 9:30 am in the funeral home.
