Dorothy E. Parzanese

Dorothy E. (Hall) Parzanese, 88, formerly of 3219 Noble Street, Laureldale, died August 19th at 3:00 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had been since June 1997.

She was the widow of Floyd A. Parzanese, who died December 22, 1988.

Born in St. Paul, Minn., she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Ethel (Hanson) Hall.

She was a graduate of Reading High School and the Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

Parzanese worked as a Practical Nurse for a number of years until her retirement.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Parzanese is survived by a son, Michael Parzanese of Fort Myers, Florida and three daughters, Joan Parzanese of Martha's Vineyards, Mass., Dr. Sharon Parzanese and Judy Parzanese both of the Virgin Islands.

There is also five grandsons.

Mass of Christian Burial burial will be private. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1227 Liberty Street, Suite 104, Allentown, Pa 18102.
