Dorothy C. Kelichner

Dorothy C. Kelichner, 91, formerly of 3710 Ridgeway Street, Laureldale, died Tuesday April 23rd at 11:20 p.m. in E.C.C. Retirement Village, Myerstown, Lebanon County where she had resided since July 22, 1996.

She was the widow of Edwin S. Kelichner (died October 11, 1985)

Born in Muhlenberg Township, Berks County, Kelichner was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Young) Reinert.

She was employed as a seamer for the former Rosedale Knitting Mills for a number of years. And last worked as an owner/operator for 21 years at Ed & Dotty's Ceramic Shop, Laureldale, retiring in 1994.

Kelichner was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale. And a life member of Berks County Ceramic Association.

She is survived by a step-son, Terry Kelichner of Mohrsville; and a step-daughter, Judith (Kelichner) Shade of Reading.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday April 29th at 1:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing from noon until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
