Dorothy Ann Buser

Dorothy Ann "Aunt Doll" (Boas) Buser, 93, of Shillington, passed away September 15, 2016, at the St. Joseph Hospital.

Her husband, retired Sgt. Anthony E. Buser, worked for the Reading Police Department for 38 years died in 1986.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary E. (Cummings) Boas.

She was a graduate of St. Peter's Roman Catholic High School.

Dorothy was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She was an avid Notre Dame and Phillies fan.

She loved spending time with her family; watching tv game shows; elephants; reminiscing about the "good old days" and travel with her husband, Tony.

Dorothy was a wonderful wife, daughter, Aunt, sister, and friend. She was a warm, caring, selfless person with a great sense of humor who will be sincerely missed by all.

She is survived by her nephew, Tom Lawlor, with whom she resided, along with other nieces and nephews, and their families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:45 a.m. in St. Peter's Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 322 S 5th St, Reading, PA 19602. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
