Dorothy M. Burk

Dorothy M. Burk, 94, formerly of Wyomissing died December 1 at 1:40 p.m. in ManorCare, West Reading where she had been since September 7, 2002.

Her husband Robert C. Burk died in 1965.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude (Geckle) Wolf.

She was employed as a cook by Kate's Luncheonette, West Reading until her retirement in 1969.

Burk is survived by one son Robert C., Jr., Shillington and one daughter Barbara A. (Burk) Masano, Wyomissing. She is also survived by two sisters Florence (Wolf) Wheeler, West Reading and Ruth (Wolf) Meck, Wyomissing. There are also 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, December 3 at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to ManorCare Activity Fund 425 Buttonwood Street West Reading, PA 19611.
