Dorothy K. Bowers

Dorothy K. (Trexler) Bowers, 91 formerly of Shoemakersville, PA. Died March 10th, 2010 in Berks Heim, where she has resided since November 2006. She was born in Albany Township and was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Daisy P. (Kunkel) Trexler. She was predeceased by her husband's Raymond B. Bowers in November 1962 and Glenn T. Fritch in May 2002. She had worked as a waitress for the Dutch Valley Diner and Dempsey's Restaurant. She is survived by three daughters: Carolyn L. (Fritch) wife of Thomas R. Adam, Shoemakersville, Betty L. (Fritch) wife of Terry Wagner, Perry Township and Suzanne L. (Fritch) wife of David A. Stanbaugh, Strausstown, two stepsons, Terry L. husband of Nadine Bowers and Timothy J. husband of Rita Bowers, Exeter Township, seven grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 South Fourth Street, Hamburg, PA. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery, Shoemakersville.
